COMPETENCE BASES –LANGUAGE TEACHING
The chapter 13 refer to COMPETENCE –BASED EDUCATIONAL is explained as a movement that focuses on outputs or outcome of the learner during the process in the program of language, this means that the student have to demonstrated what they can do with the language they learner, it is interesting because the purpose is that the students the end of the course they can interact with the world around them.
According with the author the (CBE) have into account the student’s need being the learner the center of the teaching-learning process acting as participatory agent.
It also mentioned about the standard, it refer to a descriptions of the advances in knowledge, skill attitudes that a students need for performing in the real-world; it means that the students be able to “know-how do in context” in this way the student have the opportunity of to be in different grade range.
Taking into account the previous quickly appear the relation to (ESL) with the movement that was proposed as framework for organizing foreign language teaching (CBLT), which have been one the most important phenomena in modern language learning give the importance at the learner they learn the language in relate with real context, being they responsible of own language learning.
Can I conclude that (CBLT) should be implementing in own school for the teaching English, because it is central to life of the learner, for the design learning unit or syllabus with accuracy and of this way seek to develop functional communication skill in learner.
